Recycling

Recycling plays a vital role in our lives by encouraging us to rethink waste as potential. It fuels creation by transforming discarded materials into new forms, offering fresh possibilities and narratives. In my artwork, this theme reflects the ongoing cycle of breaking down and rebuilding—where remnants of the past become the foundation for new expression. Recycling is not just a physical act, but a metaphor for resilience, transformation, and creative renewal.

ViewPoints

Looking for different viewpoints and new ways to create them is about challenging familiar perspectives and embracing experimentation. It reflects a curiosity to see the world differently and to express that shift through form, texture, and process. In my practice, this means pushing beyond comfort zones—whether through unconventional materials, altered scales, or layered interpretations. It’s an ongoing search for fresh language in both thought and creation.

Unconscious

Trying to create from the unconscious is a way of reaching into what lies beneath the surface—memories, emotions, and instincts that are often hidden or forgotten. It’s about connecting to something dormant, allowing it to emerge through the act of making. In my work, this process becomes a form of discovery, where intuition guides the hand and reveals meaning over time. It’s less about control and more about listening to what wants to speak through the material.

Fractures and fusions

Fractures and fusions reflect the rhythm of life—where destruction and creation are not opposites, but intertwined forces. This process speaks to how we break, rebuild, and transform, both personally and collectively. In my work, I explore these shifts through materials that carry tension and resolution, highlighting the beauty in what is broken and reformed. It’s a reminder that growth often begins in the spaces where things fall apart.
